For 'Without the Moon’ , as well as new recordings, Anni delves into some gorgeous creative collaborations from her archive, including a couple of tracks originally released in 1985 on Cabaret Voltaire's Doublevision label. It’s contrasting tracks could be likened to one end of Anni's piano keyboard to the other, 'Burning Boats' with Marc Almond, to 'Scattered Carelessly', (I like that end of Anni’s piano best.) Nick Cave’s incredible 1983 piano blues slo-mo grind ‘Vixo’ all the way through to (Nitzer Ebb/Depeche Mode) engineered by the Paul Kendall - & ‘Come Take My Hand’ produced and featuring Barry Adamson, : "sounding like some vintage Les Disques du Crépuscule poolside obscurity."
